The FCN’s mission is to foster a collaborative environment in which filmmakers, actors, and all persons interested in the filmmaking process can connect with one another through a streamlined and accessible network.

The FCN will serve as a community through which the filmmaking process can be shared. The FCN is completely led by and for UCI students and will focus on catering to their filmmaking efforts, but all FCN resources will be available to anyone regardless of experience or university affiliation.

Our initial goals involve establishing a website for members to post job boards, advertise skills, and promote upcoming projects or events, including a search function to find collaborators. After this, FCN aims to expand through quarterly recruitment, educational workshops, and social events.
